I don't like LP basses (or guitars) but those are pretty sweet.

Les Paul the man though, hefty contributions to the music world and what a gifted musician.

I have the pickups out of a Gibson one, and while I haven't put them in a bass yet, I did surface mount them for a test, sounded incredible.
