I'm somewhat surprised that Fender hasn't brought it back as a production color, as Chris from Muse has two Custom Shop Am. Deluxe Jazz Basses in Candy Tangerine in tour and being played a good amount of the set. Then again, it might be the fact that it's a subtle "color shifting" paint that shifts from a lighter orange to a darker, almost reddish hue and not easy to shoot. Still, I love that color.

...I also realized that although it's not particularly "Orange" by my eyes, given the way this thread gives the color a wide latitude my Mike Lull Modern 5 in "Transparent Amber" fits the description of being orange...
