OK, here's my Reranched Epi T-bird. It's Fiesta Red but with the amber clear coat it looks orange.

GREAT thread! I just picked up a GORGEOUS Swamp Ash Jazz body with a highly figured maple top, rear routed. I'm sending it to Bhefner for an orange Transparent finish. I have always loved the US Fender Orange Transparent finishes, but don't like the routing in the bodies. I can play this with no pick guard and really show off the figuring in the top. It will be about 8 weeks back and forth with shipping, but I think it will be great as my fretted bass as I LOVE my fretless "Jaco" bass that built from a Highway One body and a 60s reissue neck!!

Your Capri Orange looks just like Reranch's Coral. It's gorgeous, but just very similar.

When I ordered this bass the first (and main) spec was... orange. I wanted something similar to my Padauk-topped Tobias.

It's all Maple.
