badass!
What do the toggle switches do? I assume one of them turn the lights on?

Thanks, the big chrome toggle is for the Meas M6's mute.
The little green toggle is for the units internal blue LED lights.
The red one is for the external red light (I'm going to add another red LED later).
And the yellow toggle is for the external orange LED in the back of the rack (I'm going to add another orange LED later also).

The red and orange external LED's are plugged into the 2.1mm X 5.5mm 9 volt DC out jacks on the back of the
selector unit, which can also be used to power other 9volt stuff such as pedals ect.

Guyatone FL3 Flanger

Points of interest:
1. same MN3207 & MN3102 bucket brigade chips as the coveted Boss BF2.
2. PCB is still marked FL2
3. While reassembling this pedal, tightening down the outside retaining nut to the 'rate' potentiometer, I cracked the solder joints at the base of the pot. Tested the pedal after reassembly and could hear some filtering but no sweep. Took the pedal apart again, resoldered all three contact points plus both support lugs since all those joints looked cold set. Tested it, worked fine again, then reassembled. In the photo the two bad joints that cracked are clearly visible.

What kind of sonic difference do feel the cap change made?

To give an honest answer I would need to A/B it with another unmodded OC-2. If I ever get the chance I will post it.

My experience with other Boss pedals says that the Opamp adds more noise than the Caps. However, with the OC-2 there are a lot of 1microF electrolytic caps in the signal path which at some point would need replacing anyway. I just jumped the gun and gave it an overhall whilst I had it in peices for the synth mod.

So you can see here that the Heart Attack have the internal trimpots, just like the bassballs. Mine is out for the trimpot mod.

Sorry bout the phone pics, but when I got to get open the pedals my camera had no battery...
