I have just found a phot that my wife took when the new dog [as yet un-named] came to visit us and meet Lucy our resident Pyrenean Mountain Dog. The new creature ihas the grey spots and is on the floor, Lucy is in her normal place on the furniture!

It is a rescue hence we are getting it at 9 months old instead of 2 months. It is however a lovely dog and got on really really well with Lucy. It needs a little bit of Vet care as it has a sore on it's flank but we are going into this with our eyes open and have a 2 week period in which we can return it to the breeder who rescued it.

My pets eh?

Well, don't have a camera but I found a picture of the breed I have:

Foundation ants. The only way to not have them flood my apartment is to not have any food in there at all. They won't come in for weeks and as soon as I cook, I see a line of them. I usually let them have a couple crumbs then kill them.

This is why I'm moving.

Velvet is her name. Black Velvet. She is a black lab we picked up at the Humane Society here in Green Bay. She was 8 months old then, and full of energy. She goes camping, boating, and trips up to the Soo. She is ten, and slowing down a bit now, but the fire in her eyes is still there. She truly is, our furry child :)
