Are SURE it was a Coyote?? My 6 month
old was killed a few months ago, I thought
it was a coyote, but found out it was
actually RACCOONS!! We lost 6 cats and
4 rabbits in the neigborhood this past
summer. It was raccoons. I set traps and
caught 2. We haven't lost any cats since.
I'm really sorry about your cat. It
sucks...

Yep it was a coyote. at about 7am I hear a wailing cat scream. I jump out of bed and go out on the deck that looks over the northwest side of the property. I see two coyotes one with Sox in it's mouth. I yell out at the coyotes to drop it. it does and runs off. I jump off the deck and over the fence where she is ..it's to late she is already dead, it was sad. coyotes are a big problem around here. my dog Hank who is slighty larger than a coyote was attacked awhile ago. luckly he was only bit on the rear.
Sorry to hear about your cat Slug..:(

The horse in the pic I saddlebroke, but mostly I deal with fresh off the track thoroughbreds. I have also had the occasional psycho rehab project. I do huntseat and western. Definitely good times!

Your foal is way too cute. Julie (the horse in the picture) just had a baby this summer (she's actually breeding stock paint). What do you do with your horses?

Were into it for pleasure riding. My Wifes horse was in foal when she got it, so thats how we wound up with the baby. Im kinda new to this, so a young horse isnt the best thing for me. I'm currently looking for a 12-15 year old former lesson horse(something totally bombproof) for me to ride for the time being.
