Umm, it's tight! But i am saving my money for a Ampeg 8x10. I don't like the Goliath III at all. Just to harsh n' bright. Even without turning the tweeter off. :hmm:
Cool, im really looking for a marshall 2x15 (in love with one at the practice room), maybe an ampeg 8x10, come on, its just cool, never tried an ampeg 2x15, either way, it would be complete overkill for me, but who cares!!!

Muhahahaa!

Wow guys i dont know how you guys can afford all of that stuff!! I feel sad now, my rig is nothing near as cool as any of yours . :bawl:

I definately have felt the pain of not being able to afford nice gear. I dont make alot of money (just enough to live paycheck to paycheck), but I stopped buying alcohol, eating out, rarely see movies anymore, have a place with dirt cheap rent, so I started saving everything and just dropping 600 here, 700 there. Searching the used market, you can assemble quite the rig, piece by piece...if you can handle living with no spending money for a year or two ha ha. It sucks, but it's an investment as I see it.

Not to tip my age or anything but my biggest rig was during high school in the 70's. I have some pics, but nothing electronic.

I had a 75 P bass feeding a stack that consisted of a 65HD MusicMan tube head feeding 2 1x15 reflex cabinets. These were side-by-side on top of 2 3' deep 1x18 rear-loaded reflex Peavey cabinets that were being fed by a 400w Peavey Super Festival head.

The rig filled up my pickup, but it would knock the squirrels out of the trees for some distance!! I still remember playing Black Sabbath's Paranoid standing in front of that stack and watching my pant legs vibrate!! :bassist:

Ok.. You've all seen it now, but despite it's small looks (the cab, mostly) i've decided this has to be posted, seens that my head is now swimming after playing with it for about 5 minutes before (master 8-10, gain 3, half power mode, 200watts).
