Well Finally I got the pictures of my GK 800RB and Ampeg SVT 410HE, rig over the last couple of days... I havent had the chance to open her up yet with my Jazz or my P-Bass, but I am going to a jam / recording session this weekend, which has some potential to turn into some gigs soon. I'll be giving her a flogging at the jam though :bassist:

Building a small 1x12" + 8" for the smaller gigs, which should be alot easier to cart around- hopefully it sounds great too- I'm sure it will.

Nice! So, do you play guitar and drums as well?

I think that is the first that I have seen a U5 sitting in its own rack. I like it!

And what is that device sitting on top of the Bassett Hound?

yup,

dare i say it on this forum, but i actually started as a guitar player, and i picked up drumming a few years back. GAS in three dimensions is NOT a good thing. :hmm:

and yea, the U5 all racked is terrific. gigging has never been safer.

and that's not my Bassett Hound. that's my Alessandro Blue Tick guitar amp. atop that is the Dr. Z Airbrake attenuator. gotta keep it real for the neighbors. :p

It's a good thing that I don't play much guitar or drums. Even so, I've been thinking about having Pete Skjold build me a "guitar for bass players" (basically, an instrument with wider string spacing, and perhaps a longer scale, but one that will still sound like a guitar). After bass, most of my GAS is either PA or recording associated.

Haven't needed the 115 on a gig yet. So last week I bought a power amp and an SVP=Pro for the 115 and it will sit in my workshop. It may only be a reference rig, but hell...why not have it sound nice?
