Show your rigs with mismatched cabs!

SWR 750x on AMPEG 810. It makes very loud noises.

Long ago in a far away land called New Orleans.....8x10's + 1x18's on each side of the drum riser!

Later in life in a blues/rock band, this rig fit nicely in a Nissan Stanza(the ONLY time in my life I didn't own a van.....never again). Trace Elliot head got rack mounted with a lot of other toys(right pic). 4x10 + 1x15.

2008 behind Houston's City Hall, 2x10's vertical + 8x8:

And even more recently when road-testing the Burgera monster head bi-amped at an FOH gig with a lame FOH soundman(cut bass guitar out of the PA no matter what you use on stage). 4x8 + 1x18. They had bass in the audience that night:

Although I swear against mismatched rigs, it's good for all of us to get a wake up call and realize, "if it works for them, who cares?"
fair enough!

also, many of these are just examples of a head on a perfectly matched cab arrangement of a different brand; nobody's really calling that a "mismatched" rig at all.

Let me re-phrase: Although I swear against mismatched bass cabs, it's good for all of us to get a wake up call and realize, "if it works for them, who cares?".

I have a cab with mismatched speakers if that counts. It's a Bergantino HT322 which is a 2x10, 1x12, plus tweeter ported cab. It plays wonderfully and along with my HD150 amp has become my main rig for small to medium venues.
