Not at all... but I suppose its all relative. Not as quick as my Lakland was but its no warwick either.
Just got this Euro 4 LX about a month ago. I got it for a nice price due to it being a "factory 2nd". It's brand new but has a crack in the clear coat. It's not even the top coat and you can't feel it. It shows up well in these pics but only 'cause the bass is outside in the sunlight. It's very hard to see inside. You have to be very close, at the right angle, and have the right lighting conditions.
I hated the Tonepump. IMO it was too trebly, scooped sounding, and too hot. I also didn't like that it was boost only. Not versatile at all. So I had an EMG BQC system put in it and it made a world of difference. It sounds killer now and it's amazing how many tones I can get with it. I also put some gold knobs on.

Agreed. I'm not a big fan of the tonepump.
Gorgeous bass there. You get that on eBay? I think i recall seeing it on there. Still, the factory second is nothing. That bass is spectacular looking.

The crack doesn't happen to go from the P pickup on up, does it??
I'm slowly growing to like it myself. You can get a really gnarly growly tone from it, but it's still a bit too harsh IMHO.
It goes from the P pickup out to the side of the body. Look at the picture and you can see it on the left side of the picture. When the bass is indoors, it's rarely able to be seen. I had to point it out to my wife and even then she said she thought it was just part of the wood grain pattern.
