I've made a little investigation. Well... It looks that it's one of those older bubinga-top Legends 4, that was made 2004-2006.

It's an older Legend Classic w/PJ's.

AFAIK there were no "classics" or "customs" then. There were simply "Legends" in catalog only. Here it is:

I've already contacted with Spector Customer Service an they were very swift with answer:

"...you have a Legend bass with a bubinga top and matte finish. this is a sealed
finish, so yes you can clean it with guitar polish as you stated. no need
for lemon oil and wax as it is not an oil and wax finish."

Here's my NS-94. This has been one of my loaners to a student who loved it before he went off to college. I don't really play 4's anymore so we'll see what happens to it. Still these are nice basses, contoured maple body, neck thru, nice tone.

I know the Fretted Spectorcores are great. I'm currently trying to find a reasonably priced 4-string Fretless version. Then my GAS will be held at bay for a while!
