I don't believe mine has the bridge with the locking saddles...but maybe i'm wrong. Mine's just liek the blue one tom_vass posted a few posts back...and you can see pictures of mine if you go back a little further. does spector use more than one bridge?

What I do is leave the string up to tension, release the hex screw that locks the saddles in, then grab the saddle with my thumb and forefinger to move it. Adjust tuning, check intonation......wash, rinse, repeat. Lock the set screw back down, and you're done.

It's pretty easy, and very quick once you get the hang of it.

Other than things like the nut, and electronics there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference IMO.

Let me know if you decide to pull the aggie out of that, or maybe I can just have you wire one up for me since it is what I need. Mine has bart pups, but I am not really liking the pre a bunch.

Yeah, p0k -

The US models like yours (I'm STILL jealous! :bawl: :D) & Tom Vass' have Hipshot 'B' bridges, while Euro/Czech stuff (like my Rebop 5) has a Spector bridge with the locking saddles.

This is the Spector that made me realize these things were for me! Korean model,not sure what exactly.

Worked my ass off all summer and now I have more than I could have hoped for at 17!

It's a killer! Sounds terrific and looks gorgeous :)
I know nothing about this bass: no model name, no year of production.
All I know is that it's Korean, made "under license of Stuart Spector Design" and it's serial is 7992.

Maybe someone can make this case a bit clearer? I will be VERY thankful :)

That, my friend is a Spector Legend 4 Classic. Looks like somebody modded the preamp on yours.
