It was at a B&B in Orange County, VA. The owners cleared paths through 27 acres so visitors could walk their dogs. I didn't get any pictures, but they had alcoves cut out with yawn furniture so you could sit out and have a picnic, read, hang out, etc.

Wow, thanks! I appreciate that. I'm not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination, I just try to take pictures I think will look good.

My friend sent a gotcha pic of her beagle puppy working on one of her suede shoes. "I have to puppy-proof the whole house for Odin," I reply. And gets me up in the morning by taking up the whole bed.

I imagined to be there for a moment, lay down on the grass with my dogs and petting them while looking at the sky. I guess I'm pretty easy to please.
I like when I'm in cooking in the kitchen and my dogs supervise the whole process with extreme attention (you know why of course).
I'm a decent cook but I feel like a real professional in those moments. LOL

Small world. It's the Inn at Poplar Hill. Not too far from downtown. It's pretty relaxing out there and several wineries for tasting.

Waiting to hear from my daughter about their 120 lb Turkish Akbash, Rachel. They discovered bone cancer in one leg and yesterday it was surgically removed. The specialist said that she should do ok, but I can't help thinking that it's going to be harder for a 10 year old arthritic 120 lb dog to adapt to that than it would be for a 20 lb dog. Anyone have any experience with that kind of stuff?
They said the surgery and chemo should giver her another year. I just hope it's not too traumatic for all of them. At least she won't be in as much pain (once she heals) than she was before the surgery.
