Show Your Spoiled Dog Pictures.

It's time I introduce you some of the dogs I personally rescued during the last years.
I'll start with the story of Toby and Frank, my most difficoult and risky rescue so far. These two Jack Russels were abandoned in a private field by a backyard breader who rented the space to do his filthy business. He simply took off at some point, leaving these two brothers alone, without food and water. I discovered them by chance and started going there everyday to give them food and water. One of them (Toby), was really sick and needed urgent medical care, but when I tried to approach the dogs I quickly realized that they were basically feral, totally afraid by human beings.
I knew at that point that it wouldn't be an easy rescue and I needed to take action personally, in order to save them quickly.
Long story short, I needed to break many laws to rescue them. I managed to enter the field, put traps and baits many times, all of that without being detected. It was hard but I planned everything in detail and was ready for any possible scenario, including the worst.
It took me approximetely 2 weeks to capture Toby. This is how he looked at the time.

He was a mummy, basically. Another couple of weeks, maybe less, and he would die an horrible and painful death. After a long phisical and psychological rehabilitation, he was finally adopted by a friend of mine.
Here's Toby now:

It took me almost 3 months to capture his brother Frank. Phisically speaking, he wasn't as sick as Toby but still an heavily traumatized dog with lots of psychological problems. He recently found his forever home and he's happy.
Here's him before:

There is a soft chair waiting for you in canine heaven.

Here's Miki.

Miki was abandoned inside the building where I live, in front of my doorstep.
I heard some crying, opened the door, and he came inside. Simple as that.
I'm sure whoever did that, they knew who lived inside that door. Better than leave him out in the cold, I guess. It was a cold night and he was approximately 2 months old, poor little guy.
He stayed with me and Boston for a couple of days, than I found him a perfect home and now he's a super spoiled dog.

After reading these wonderful animal rescue stories, I am seriously considering leaving my estate to some animal rescue charities. I have no kids and quite frankly the heck with my nieces and nephews. They can fend for themselves. Just sayin.
Cool idea! Go for it!

I updated my trust after my 3rd and final divorce to make sure the step-grandkids get nada. I set up two endowments for female student athletes at the local university to be funded 50/50 with 100% of my estate. Men's bball and fball specifically get no part of it. They're not the ones who need financial help.

When it comes to rescue organizations, I don't want them to have to wait for my death. I'd rather give them my time now.

Actually, we do donate now to some animal rescue groups but I am thinking when I kick off to give a high percentage of my stuff to them. We also do some rescue animal relocation flights through a group called Pilots and Paws.

Here's Lucky in my car, the day I found him. I had a bad fever and decided to go home early from work. I guess we were supposed to meet up, call it destiny, fate or whatever.

I found him on the side of a busy highway, it was a really scary and dangerous situation. He was escaping a young man that later I discovered was just trying to save him from the running cars. I immediately pulled over, did "my thing" and Lucky immediately came to me and licked my face. My hearth was melting, literaly.
I put my "emergency leash" on him, thanked the man for the effort and run straight to the vet. During the trip he talked a lot in the backseat, maybe he was trying to thank me or saying that he needed help, I don't know.
He was weak, malnourished, sick, and old (10+ years I'd say). I took care of him until he was adopted, and he's probably my favourite rescue dog. I love him so much.
Here's him in his foster home during last winter.

He was finally adopted last summer by a beautiful family. Unfortunately, he had some health problems in his new home, but now he's ok. He's loved and happy. And yes, he was "lucky" to find me. Here's him now.
