My name is Faye. My daddy, Burns, won Best in Hound Group at Westminster Monday night. He didn't win Best in Show, but he should have. Oh, that's my cousin Bella behind me and Ellie, the cat, on my right. Rusty isn't in this picture. He hadn't come to live with us yet. My mommy did the effects on this picture. She was a good artist. I really miss her. Daddy says she'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for me some day. He says she is in a happy place and she isn't sick any more. I'm glad she's not sick, but I still miss her.

It's hard to get "spoiled" pictures of Otto. He's a very spartan sort of dog. He much prefers to be outside on the deck where he can survey his 2 acres and make sure that Everything is As It Should Be. He only is willing to be inside when it's raining hard. We bring him in when it's wet because he gets rashes from lying around in the wet, but he thinks we're just not getting it and tries to convince us How Important It Is that he go back outside to hang out.

Great names...he looks just like an Otto and she totally looks like a Sabrina.
I know a lady who has two Anatolians to watch over about a hundred goats, they stay with the goats full time and only come in to eat.
I think working breeds are happiest when doing their job.

Then, of course, you have the other side. 6:00 this morning, my two dogs started barking their heads off. Turns out when our "neighbors" (actually about 1/2 mile away) let their dog out, they forgot to turn on the transmitter for the invisible fence. This dog is buddies with mine, so of course he came over through the woods to play.
My dogs come running out, forgetting the front yard is a sheet of ice. The beagle slides down the entire hill (the bulldog is too cautious for this). I go out in my sweats, put the leashes on my dogs and lead them in, then put the other dog in my car and bring him home.
So much for sleep...
