Ya the LS2 is pretty rad. I had bought the EHX tri-parallel mixer to replace the LS2 but it just didn’t do it for me. Gonna die with that on my board. And it’s a Boss pedal so my great grand kids will probably inherit it.

Added a Broughton Josh Wah, and rethought my wiring some. Not unhappy with the tidiness, but if you have any suggestions how to deal with all those patch cables rather than, well, like this, feedback is much appreciated. This way though, everything is inside the dimensions of the board, plugs included, which I quite like.

On this board, it’s like the Swiss Army Knife of my sound. It provides my main tone, including compression. Also, it’s my switchable OD/Distortion of choice. And if lines on the board permit, my DI(s).
Tone-wise, I really enjoy the BB's “clean” channel, it can sound like a highly saturated, but not yet overdriven tube head. Only bass and treble controls for that channel, but if you need to push the mids, well, raise volume and dim bass and treble. Old-school. Then, there’s the “dirty” channel, which is modeled after a guitar amp; both together provide sort-of a bi-amp setup-in-a-box. Getting both of them to the board via dedicated DI and cab simulation is really nice.
Realistically speaking, it’s like an all-in-one thing, so more like something you’d use without further pedals. It’s also bloody heavy, like 1 kg or something. It would probably be more sensible to replace it with a smaller preamp, e.g. the Broughton SV-Pre or a SansAmp plus a dedicated compressor pedal, and keep it for those times you don’t want all your pedals but just the bare-bones things you’ll need in one package. But I really really like the clean channel’s compressed/saturated tone, and wasn’t able to replicate it with other pedals, so, eh.
After a year and a half I tweaked the dirt stages a bit.
Here is my newest build. It pretty tidy.
This is my current setup:
Markbass compressore and tc electronic Mojomojo. In the zoom, at the moment of the picture, a patch with a booster and Noise Gate. I also use the Zoom as tuner.
The three pedals are powered by Harley Benton Power plant ISO-5.

What's the black box in the centre?
It's a usb midi controller to quickly change patches on the Zoom and also provides DC power to the fx unit.
