I'm going to mount these on a piece of wood. Kind of bummed the ab switch doesn't have external power, because I never remember to unplug everything.

I put my dirt straight through the preamp, and my modulation through the effects loop. I'll post my currently "untidy version to illustrate. Top row straight in, bottom row = loop.

Okay, great pedal boards. Since I’ll be putting together my first, what are your opinions about going through the effects loop as opposed to into the front of the amp? I’ve only ever used the occasional chorus or octaves, and always through the front of the amp. What are the pros and cons of effects loops for a pedal board loaded with effects?

I consider my current board quite tidy, but not tidy enough just yet. Might replace the Ampeg SCR-DI with an Orange Bass Butler, but, well, we’ll see.

The big empty space in the top row is going to be filled (hopefully) with a Tech 21 DI-2112.
I might also replace the Manta with a Strymon Mobius. We'll see.
Cable routing is still temporary, as the setup is not "complete".
