That’s 3 preamps and 2 comps, with a lot of EQ going on. Do you use everything at the same time?
How is the LLX? I like the Api Cmp quite a bit.
I really like your board, but want to say that the knob labeled HPF is doing more or less the opposite of what the Fdeck does.
The Cali uses a sidechain to trigger the compression, and the high pass filter is applied to that side chain only - the result is that the pedal does not get triggered by low frequencies as much.
I normally run the two compressors all the time. The two EQs are not on all time. I prefer the Oracle for most of the EQ. I might sell the LLX...its the pedal I like the least.
The CMP compressor is really nice--I use for lite compression at the beginning of the chain, while the LA-2A is in limiter mode or heavier compression at the end.

Finished putting together my first pedalboard today. Trying to keep things neat and tidy. Lots learned here on this thread, thanks everyone!
Pedalboard is a Ghostfire Little 20. Room for a wireless receiver in front and another pedal, if I ever need one, but I think this board will stay this way for a while.
Still trying to decide if the Sadowsky SBP-1 goes first (right after the tuner) or last. I like the idea of last as the DI would have the compressor before the out, but know that Roger Sadowsky suggests it be first in the chain (just like it would be if it was onboard the guitar). I’ll be A/B’ing it a bit to see if I can hear a difference either way.

Decided to simplify my board recently. Stage space has gotten to be a premium, and this has been saving me a lot of headaches!

Overkill vs. Need:
The small board is all I need and what I use from the Overkill board TBH…needless to say I use the Overkill Board for goofing around at home.
