gsgbass - this has to have some creamy tone as it appears to be made of butter. 
Here's the latest. It was originally an MXZ-Elite from the late 80s with a pointy head stock. I put a new neck on it. I also relocated the jack from the side of the body to the top of the body way back when I first bought it:
My other white bass is another off-brand probably from the 80s. It is a Magnum Galaxy V. I had to install a new pick guard and a new pickup and wiring and pots. The original pick guard was smashed and the original pickup was toast. I also had to file a lot of frets!!!

It's a good feeling when you take something less than special and make it into something special. Well played!

It really has some smooth tones. I like this Am. Std. Jazz a bit more than previous noes.
