Shuttle 9.0?

Im tired of hearing about everyone's Ubers..:D
looks like i have to break down and get a set of 2x10s.. id go for the 4x10 but it wont fit in my car... wish i still had my old hondas...

The 9.0 looses NOTHING in terms of punch from the 6.0. It is everything the 6.0 has, plus the smooth/fat/rich sound the 12/1200 give you. It is an all around winner in my book!!

Now if my Uber 410 would just get here so I can do some demolition...LOL!!!!!

I can only speak actually of the Uber 212 and it was awesome, but with the 9.0 I have been assured the Uber 410 will do serious damage on small domestic animals........

... so dual Uber 210 would do the job for you, I'm sure!!!!

Yes sir.. Dual Uber 210 is the deal.... Dennis digs it too.. i need to cal him later this week..

See, I'm thinking the same thing Kirk!
Ordering my 9.0 here in a few.

Wish I had the loot to slap an Uber210 on there as well!!
Anyone have an extra Uber210 they want to let me "borrow"?? LOL!!!

That's exactly the kind of info I'm looking for.

Anybody know if this is true and what the difference would be in the voicing?

I wish I could get a schematic for both of them.

It's not so much a difference in voicing as it is a difference in how the EQ point is biased when set flat.

When the Shuttle 6 is set at flat, the low frequencies are rolled off so that they match better with the smaller Shuttle combo cabs. You can overcome that roll-off of the lower frequencies by engaging the bass boost and boosting the lows a bit.

The ShuttleMax is not rolled off like that when set flat.

Thanks, that's exactly what I've been doing. I've also engaged the mid scoop at times which seems to emphasize the lows for my setup.

Still, I think I'd like to have a little extra bass boost available so maybe I'll have to try the Shuttle 9 too. Unfortunatly the dealer I bought my Shuttle 6 from says he isn't going to stock the Shuttle 9.

The 9.0 is serious . It sounds great at lw volumes as well. Thick warm and punchy through a single Uber210, dual Uber210's an Uber212 or the 12t combo cabinet only at home not live because I am sure 500 watts would take the single 12 out a whole new door).


I am a genz endorser but I am a bass player first and this head screams.

This head seems like it is going to be wonderful. With the more open low end voicing, combined with the additional wattage (especially key for the '8ohm guys'), this should be a VERY successful product for them.. especially at the very reasonable price point, and of course, combined with the service and support level you get with these guys.

I've had the pleasure of giving some of Don Oatman's Low Down Sound cabs a 'pretest before shipping' trial. He has built a number of these large, 8ohm 15/6.5 boxes, based loosely on those AlexClaber and Greenboy designs. These boxes are very lightweight, and can take a lot of power. The typical 300 or so watt micro head into 8ohm just doesn't quite cut the mustard. Don is VERY excited about the Shuttle 9 as being potentially a great match for these types of cabs, and I'm hoping I can get Mike (Mikebass) over when the next one comes down the pike to really give it a trial.
