Shuttle 9.0?

The power is a beautiful thing. I now use a lot more single Uber210 because it is a freestanding portsable 500 watts rig that is warm and toasty

+1 The idea of a micro head that has enough ooomph to drive a relatively large 8ohm cab is a wonderful thing. The Puma1000 bridged can do this, but it will cost you a LOT of money. The 9 seems a great option for this. I look forward to Mike bringing his 'soon to be delivered' one over (I hope!).

Oh I will!!!:bassist:
Plus you gotta check out this crazy cool archtop I have!

I can totally see that... Using one cab that is..
I love headroom... I think the 9.0 will allow players and the guys that needed a rack rig to get a nice chunk of power the ability to have a small form factor amp with plenty of power to cut just about any gig.. from small one cab 8 ohm rig to a larger cab 4 ohm rig...perhaps even being able to cut gigs without PA support and you have to play to the room from stage..
i did one of those yesterday... just played the room with my 12.0 and two aggy db112s and an old GS.. it got pretty loud.. but clear as day...

I would guess that the 9.0 would allow folks to do that (play to the room) with a comapct amp.. I can see guys that use the Acme cabs hoping on board to get one too.

I had better borrow Dennis's phrase too..."I am a genz endorser but I am a bass player first" ...

i wish genzbenz had a neo 610...i got rid of my SM12 so i could pick up a tube amp and also a shuttle 9.0.

idk what i want to get for a cab, though...the 9.0 will be great for a 610...i'm really considering the MB CL106 right now.

Does anyone happen to know if there's one available to try out at any of the shops in Detroit? I'm heading down there tomorrow and really want to try one out with my Berg HT322 before dropping any money.

Gigging at Fishbone's in St Clair Shores if any TBers are in the area...

I'll have mine next week if you're back in the area. You're welcome to check it out. (I'm in Oxford as well, so if you're close lemme know)
As far as I know, no one in town has them. I could be wrong though. The last Genz dealer was Low Down Sound and they closed their doors a while back.

I assume you are gigging at Fishbone's Saturday night? Rats... I'm on the road gigging in St. Louis on Saturday, but have Friday off, and Fishbone's is only about 15 minutes from my house.

If you are gigging tonight (Friday), bounce me a PM and I'll pop by.

Do you know if Ryan is planning on getting some over at GC?

Sorry, yeah, tomorrow. Doing a fill-in with the Lucas Paul Band from Ann Arbor. Last weekend we were in Traverse City and Marcus Hunter was the drummer...great fun!
