Shuttle 9.0?

Sorry I understand I may have confused some.

I was getting to the argument that GB does not have an amp that will run 2 ohms. IMO this is a non argument since the SM 12.0 will run two 4 ohm cabs. It is pretty much six of one and a half dozen of the other.

No the SM 12.0 will not run two 2 ohm cabs but if you want to run all that cabbage then might as well run two amps. What's one more 6 pound box to carry when you have four + cabs?

OK, I just got mine and ran it thru the paces for the last half hour or so.......
BELIEVE all the hype.
It IS that good.

I'll own it before I actually say it, but don't be surprised if I say it very could be one of the best amps out there. Light weight or not.
This thing has the goods. The real deal.

I used the GBE1200 last night and thought I should have went with that instead of the 9.0.
The quickness combined of the 9.0, with the warmth, the punch and tone with the settings all at "noon"......unreal.

Yes I did the A/B next to the 1200.

The same, yet different.
You can tell they are from the same family thats for certain. But I wouldn't say the 1200 beats it by any means.
Sure the 1200 has a pretty massive overall tone, but much to my surprise, the 9.0 is right there with it.
Seriously guys, total no BS.

I am stunned to say the least.

Very nice amp.

oh man..:bawl::bawl: I had that USB charger idea 4 years ago... I would love to see that...
Maybe one day.. Pretty please?????:)

I've been trying to sneak the USB charger feature into an amp for years... I have one in a prototype that I used to power my analyzer's USB preamp for use as a preamp into a different analyzer.

Of course, now that it's out in the open, let's see who put it in their next amp ;)

we actually made the knob change a bit ago....on the 6.0. It should be that way on your MAX too.
One of the things that I LOVE about the knobs on the 'little' Shuttle 3.0 is the groove on the knob. I can set it by 'feel' without looking at the amp at all, so dark stages aren't the liability that they are for me with other knob sets...that and being able to count the detents...great job!

Well, for all who really want to know, I have Three 4 ohm cabs because I am happy:) with the tone of each one of them...call me crazy:eek:.
I did get rid of the fourth one:rollno:.
I often have one cab that I leave at a practice site and the other two cabs stay at home with me for home practice and 1or 2 will come with me on gigs.
I had an XTi 4000 Power amp and a Tube BBE-MAX Preamp( this power /pre combo actually could handle four 4 ohm cabs that I had at one point IF I wanted to use them all at once):hiding:.
I sold the above rig just before I got my Genz Benz 1200.
And I had the Eden WT800B prior to that but was'nt in love with its tone:spit:.
But I really love the tone I currently have with my current cabs and head:D.
No problem Red Planet-No confusion caused!!
Sometimes its hard to ask a simple question around here without getting grilled, but overall good feedback-thanks...:smug:
Peace...DAcat
