My bad - I cut and pasted it from the other post without checking the spelling. Interestingly, Google translate knew the word in the incorrect spelling.
I'd figure a sight full of bassists would have something better to talk about than other people, you know, after they're gone.
All good advice, but maybe not of direct relevance here in this thread? I actually thought you might have commented on the "practice" and "practise" distinction.Heads up:
Alot is not a word either.
'Your' should not be used in place of 'you're' (you are).
One receives advice.
When one gives advice, they advise.
'Then' should not be used in place of 'than'. "I'm hungrier THAN a bear in spring."

Besides, your argument about not wasting time commenting is weak. You posted. Don't be high and mighty. OT is for BS-ing. The posters here didn't open the thread, they're (not their) just having some fun with it.![]()
:scowl:No account needed. Anybody online can see this, TB member or no.OK....who else sneaks a look at Two Finger's profile every time they look at this thread to see if he has "cheated" and signed in to see what's been going on?
Who else figures he's already made another account and is lurking (and laughing) right now?
I waste maybe a half hour a day on the internet and I practice about 4 hours a day and have for over 20 years. You?
and besides, if I wanna talk about you I'll do it right to you.
Many here in OT don't even play bass. Most discussion sites have an Off-Topic forum, but there are none quite like TBOT.
It is a place where you can make a whole bunch of friends, and talk about pretty much anything you want, within reason. The atmosphere is unlike any other I've experienced - and conversations here have invoked the whole spectrum of emotions for me in the 3 years I've been here.
However, there are sporadic users that do themselves no favours with the tone and content of their posts. There are plenty of sites out there to spout venom and vitriol, but TB is not one of them.
I've been playing for nearly 35 years, and still find nuggets of info in the other TB forums to keep me happy....but if chewing the fat about all kinds of non-bass related nebulous nonsense isn't your thing, then you probably won't enjoy OT.
A sense of humour is a pre-requisite.
Have a nice day.
All fine and good. I understand what OT means.
Still something ironic about people talking trash about people who aren't here while pretending they aren't being douchebags by doing so.
