I'm pretty OK with this:

Now I will go back to not caring when someone posts a rage quit or a pity quit.

You're pretty new, so you may not realize that every once in a while someone gets all righteously bunched about something on TB or OT and does a rage flounce. Rather than most normal people, who would just walk away, they make a thread to garner attention. That also usually fits in with the person's general posting style and personality pretty darned well. Usually that person has been doing their best to be abrasive in how they talk with others here, they're usually mad about some kind of rules that they've broken that are CLEARLY spelled out. They may even be aware of some of the more subtle aspects of how this works, but they choose to play the 'poor me' card or the 'TB is unfair' card.

They then come here and post a ragequit. And the tradition is for people to generally do what everyone is here doing. About 50% of the time they actually come back to stir the pot even further.
