In other news, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still valiantly holding on in his fight to remain dead.

It's that dude's fault that I failed Spanish History in my freshman year of Highschool, and had to either go to summer school, or get expelled from a very good catholic HS, and go to a public HS (the one at the beginning of Welcome Back Kotter). I didn't go to summer school. And wound up taking the GED, because I already knew everything they were teaching me in public HS.

I'm glad he's still dead.

Graduated college with honors, btw.

Oh yeah, I failed cuz I didn't pay to see a movie we were required to see about Mr. Franco.

I wrote this because I know you care.

I did graduate high school. Barely.

Rather than a Franco movie, I think we were required to watch The Bad News Bears. Or a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I can't remember anymore since that was so long ago.

I was so indifferent that I didn't go through the graduation ceremony or even pick up my diploma. It's probably rotted away in some file cabinet somewhere. Perhaps the principal used it to start a fire in his wood stove. Or to wipe the spilled bourbon from his desk.

Like you, I did much better in college. Once again though, I skipped the ceremony, although I do have my diploma. I actually had to work on my graduation day in order to make rent.

Freebird was my class song, so some friends and I performed it during commencement. Then a bunch of my classmates got busted later for underage drinking at a graduation party.

They said my middle initial incorrectly when I walked across the stage for my college graduation. :hmm:

Our attempts to institute Nirvana's "Rape Me" for our class song were narrowly outvoted.
