SIMPLE bass lines that make the song...

Bumping this cause I've enjoyed this thread.
Also, might as well contribute.

A-Punk - Vampire Weekend (What genre is this even?)
Invalid Link Removed

Dunno if this has been listed yet. Didn't feel like looking through all the pages.
It's a fun song.

Woohoo Iowa!(couldn't help but notice) Vampire Weekend is awesome. I describe it as island punk? Sounds good to me! And fun to play

There are so many... off the top of my head:

Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl
Massive Attack - Safe From Harm
Peggy Lee - Fever

Not sure how easy these songs are... could be simplified as well I guess.
Marvin Gaye - Ain't that Peculiar
Jamiroquai - Runaway

and a couple more rowdy ones:
Black Flag - Six Pack
Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia
Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls
Megadeth - Peace Sells

Nirvana's version of Love Buzz is pretty simple and not too hard to get down. Easier then it sounds.
I was also thinking;
She by Green Day
Sweet Tooth by Marilyn Mason (There's actually a lot of Gidget and Twiggy lines I could list)
Maybe even Wrapped in Plastic by Manson. Probably up there with Love Buzz. Simple but might take some work to get down.
Also try, Tired of Sex by Weezer and I'm not sure, was Seven Nation Army already listed?
You could also try various Birthday Party songs like Release the Bats or King Ink

ANYTHING done by the Duck:
Green onions, Time is Tight Booker T and the MG's
Knock on wood Eddie Floyd
Born Under a Bad Sign, Crosscut Saw Albert King
Going Down Freddie King
Soul Man, Wrap It Up, May I Baby Sam and Dave
Dock of the Bay, I Can't Turn You Loose, Otis Redding

Things not by the Duck:
You Shook Me Led Zepplin
Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd
Come Together The Beatles
