Hi - I have got a lovely old bass that has a single pickup with one volume knob and one tone knob. I have just tried to rewire it with new pots and have made a real mess of it! I've probably wired it wrongly as now I don't get any sound. So, I want to start from scratch. I can do simple soldering so that'll be ok.
What I need is a simple diagram showing clearly how to wire up from pickup to jack socket , ie which lugs on the pots, where to run earth wires etc. Can anyone send me such a layout or point me to a link that has this very simple wiring diagram on it?? Thanks in advance.
