Single-Digit Club!

I've been playing since 1996 (so 26 years now...damn.) I currently own 5 basses, but I think I don't qualify because, unless my tally is off, I have owned a total of 10.

Current - Fender Jazz, Squire Precision, LTD F-104, EBMM Stingray, Ibby RB 550
Past - Peavey Milestone, Peavey T-45 x 2, Music Man Sabre, Schecter Model T Session

Disclaimer: not an actual club. I don't want to hand out any damn numbers or anything ... :D

I started playing bass in '87. Admittedly there are periods of on-and-off in there, but over that time, I have owned a total of nine bases. Yep, a single-digit number!

So, how many of you can say the same? Who has owned fewer than ten bases in their lives so far? You have to say how long you've been playing too: it's far less impressive if you own nine bases, but you started playing only last week! :roflmao:

I've also been playing since around '87. By my count, I've bought 13 in total so I guess I blew it for the club LOL. I've never owned more than 5 at a time though (which is my current stable) and likely never will.

Univox Flyer, 73 Jazz Bass, 68 Tele, parts P, Japanese Jazz Bass Special(PJ) MIM P Bass, Cheapo upright, Thompson upright, MIC Squier CV 50s. That’s nine! Started playing around 1972. I have three now and no plans to add to the pile.

8 in 50 plus years, most of those came and went in the 60’s and 70s.
