Single Malt Scotch!

Talisker = yum!

Lagavulin is still my favourite, though.

i keep hearing that talisker hasen't been up to par the last year or two. i haven't had it before that, can anyone verify?

i still have half a bottle of lagavulin. planning on opening a bottle of laphroaig 10 soon... it's getting cold, peaty season is among us. have a few drams left in a bottle of black bottle, best $23 i've ever spent...

Tomorrow is Scotch buying day, I'm back at my parent's place and scotch is cheaper!

I'll check if they carry the Bowmore Tempest which I'm curious to try, according to the NBliquor website it's a new addition to the products they carry.

If not I may get an Ardberg, Talisker 10, Laphroaig triple or a Old pulteney 12 if I choose not to spend much. Maybe I'll just get something intriguing to, we'll see. Tomorrow will be a good day :)

There was sadly no Bowmore tempest and no Ardbeg... :(

But on the other hand:

My next purchase will probably be Aberlour a'bunadh, but I'm tapped out from the Holidays (and kid's birthday parties in November and January, ugh.). Had it with a bassist friend in Vancouver several months ago and still remember how good it was.

It is! I unfortunately forgot mine at my apartment, so I'm going scotch shopping blind tomorrow.

I'm hoping they'll have one of the followings: Old Pulteney 21, Highland Park 18 (maybe 25 if I go nuts), Laphroaig 18 or the Lagavulin Distiller's edition. I know they sadly do not carry any Ardbeg products.

I got an alcohol gift-card :hyper:
