Somebody knows what is the string spacing at the bridge for the M7 5 string?
Thanks for your help!

Ok I just checked the site and I don't see the spacing at the bridge...they have everything else but that info.

Send an email to [email protected] and you should get a reply...If not, send me a PM and I'll send you the marketing director's number.

Well straight out of the box to rehearsal last night, and my V7 5 Vintage did NOT disappoint! It definitely has it's own voice compared to my V7 Standard 5. I love my white V7, and this one is a winner all on her own. Plus she only weighs 9.2 pounds! I know...I weighed her 4 times to make sure that I wasn't seeing things. Balances perfectly as well. 2 gigs this weekend will be the REAL test, but I'm sure she will pass with FLYING COLORS

They can definitely keep up with the demand...they're just not taking a risk with quality control, especially with Marcus' name being on the instrument. It's definitely worth the short wait...not like waiting 18 months on a custom instrument that you may or may not like.It can happen! :)
Whereas my M7 fretless "custom" took about 4 months. (Really more "batched on orders" than true "custom", but hey, I'll take it. Maybe some day they'll have a true custom shop, but that doesn't really seem to fit their business plan, at least not right now.)

Indeed, that's why I remain a big fan and repeat customer. :) I can stop any time I want to, I just don't want to!

I know. 3 in my stable. Still tempted to try a Vintage, and the fretless looks sweet... but I have a fretless bass and since I don't play fretless that much, a second one is wholly unnecessary. Right now, with all the uncertainty in the world, some of which affects me directly, I am all about laying low and not spending $ unless it is unavoidable. Good thing I stocked up before the end was nigh, lol.

Glad you dig your new Vintage!! Yeah i absolutely love both the Rosewood Alder and the Vintage Maple. How do the necks feel to you? Am i crazy or does there seem to be a different feel to the neck profile of the Vintage? The neck on the Vintage i received definitely feels slightly speedier and slightly different then the regular V7 5'r. Both winners!!! BAM :)

I haven't had but a couple hours on the vintage. I have 2 gigs this weekend so I will have to see. If there is a difference it's not very pronounced .

I know, different profile, but I noticed a difference in the neck back finish on my M7, more matte than sticky gloss, maybe they're doing that on the vintage V7s as well?

I definitly feel that the neck on the Vintage V7 is a tad slimmer/more playable to me than on my standard V7. The Vintage 7 sounds a little bit different too, probably has to do with that the neck pup is made by different material and that bridge pup is closer to the bridge. Both mine are 5 strings, ash maple and alder maple and the weight is about the same.

My standard V7 5 ALDER weighs in at 10.2 pounds, while the Vintage ALDER weighs in at 9.2 pounds.
