Count me in the club! I got my bass on Tuesday. V7 5 string ash/maple 3 tone sunburst.
The hype is real. I don't know what kind of magic they are using but you sure get a whole lot of bass for little cash. Right when I opened the box I was stunned by the beauty and quality of the fit and finish. To be honest I was still a little skeptical up to the point of delivery but once that box was open my hopes were confirmed.

If you are currently waiting on an order you are in for a treat. If you are looking to order plan for atleast two weeks after the original shipping date.
Well worth it

That ash/maple with TB is making me want one of those too! Nice looking.

Yeah, it's frustrating, but having more orders than they can quite keep up with isn't such a bad sign for them. They seem to be ramping up over time, though. Hope everyone who has ordered gets theirs soon. I can't wait to see what the "new news" is, but if there's an order backlog, guess I'll wait.

I glad they're sticking to their guns on quality, but I hate the wait times. I'm glad I got in early. As I was leaving class, I had 2 missed calls from Jauqo, and I was hesitant to call him back. The last time he called me, he told me that one of my idols had just died. Anyway, I called him back, and he talked my ear off about this bass, and he rarely does that for basses. He said that if I didn't get one, I'd regret it, so I grabbed one, and boy, was he right! I ended up grabbing a second one. Both are autographed. My black alder 5 is #993, and my ash SB 4 is #9.

My Sire ordering experience is less than satisfactory so far. I made the order and they charged my credit card. That was over a month ago. I have received no confirmation emails nor any replies to my queries. How was your experience ordering a Sire bass? I'm really getting nervous. I knew they were back-ordered, but the website seemed to indicate it should be here by now. The fact that I haven't received any emails at all is really bugging me.

I have been trying for a week to get answers to rather simple questions on specs in advance of placing an order. So far ...[crickets]

Don't bother calling; the VM box is "full". :cautious:

I would think that with the wealth of knowledge of the basses here with many owners I would ask those questions on this forum. Ordered mine on 11/11 "probably" won't be shipped out until Dec 5. I don't know if it's stiil at the factory in a warehouse, in So Cal in a warehouse. I knew going in it would take a while 4-6 weeks maybe. I can wait, it's a simple demand is greater than supply thing which is better than getting a low quality instrument very quickly!

Already thought of that, but evidence of M3 owners here is as scarce as hens teeth. In any event, getting info from a manufacturer should not be difficult.

Okay, here goes: anyone know the neck dimensions on the M3 bass?
Depth/width at 1st fret, 12th fret and heel would be appreciated.
Also, string spacing at the bridge.

I ordered mine on October 2nd and received it on November 17th. I emailed them twice during processing, once after the initial deadline date from website and received email promptly and they threw in free set of knobs. Second email was couple weeks later and they told me they would be shipping in next week. They were accurate and they also threw in a free tshirt. I've been nothing but pleased with the customer support and quality.

Hey everybody, whats going on. Been awhile since i dropped into a bass forum, but family came first for the past few years. AND OF COURSE, im in this specific forum because I AM AWAITING A V7.

My question is how long did you wait for delivery ? Is 6 to 8 weeks around the normal wait.
Im just assuming it was a shorter wait BEFORE the word got out. I was just curious, because now im hoping that i get it before XMAS. Im like 9 or 10 weeks in right now i think.or there abouts.

i KNOW SOMEBODY IS GONNA SAY IT WAS DISCUSSED IN THE THREAD. Be kind please, this is 63 pages long. Anyway,i am very pleased that 95% of cats seem to be singing the praises of these basses. Got the TBS4 alder/roswood. I can picture myself with it in studio with isaac playing the theme from shaft.
IT has that beautiful 70s look, with the modern electronics. OH I CANT WAIT.

I just spoke with Mikey Cho from Sire USA in Norco CA just a few minutes ago. Next batch of basses are arriving next week. They come overseas and the containers are released within a few days of them arriving in port. The ports cannot give an exact release date of the container. Once it is released it is delivered to Sire within 24 hours or less and the warehouse crew begins unpacking, inspecting, and shipping out basses based on order number.
Thanks giving is next week and he said nothing is being shipped next week. He expects shipping basses again after the Thanksgiving weekend.

He said the basses are coming and quality control is their number one priority! They are not outsourcing anything in order to control quality. He said they will not compromise quality no matter how many orders they have.

M3 Basses: They are coming out with a new 5 string M3 by end of Febuary is his guess. But right now they want to get caught up with the backlog.

Great conversation with Mickey, I emailed him yesterday and called this afternoon. Could not leave a voice mail, box was full but he called back an hour later.

Marty and his warehouse crew are working as fast as they can when they have basses to ship out.

Patience grasshopper.
