I would agree with you. Being a huge Fallout fan, Skyrim and Fallout feel very similar as far as gameplay is concerned. The terrain reminds me of fallout. Like a mixture of Fallout and Boarderland. But it is a very different game.
Absolutely hooked. Just like my first Morrowind/Oblivion playthroughs, my first character is a lumbering do-gooder Imperial with massive two handed weapons and heavy armor.
Then once it's all over, I'll re-roll as a sneaky mage with a penchant for lockpicking, thievery, and murder.

Got the game, can't seem to follow up on quests cause the quest marker is only showing one active quest when I know I've completed two, and my quest targets aren't coming up either...I just wasted about an hour trying to find one person lol
Did you hit "J" (Or whatever the Journal key is on Console) and click on the quests to make them active. Some activate by themselves and others seem to need to be done manually it seems.

Clicking on the quests turn the markers on and off. You can also decide which mis. quests you have markered by clicking them individually. Take the time to figure out how the game works. I know its a lot of info to take in at first but it will make you're gaming experience much more enjoyable. Happy gaming.
Along with the ad for the Streamliner 900 for $665, I also wish I didn't see this...I'm supposed to be practicing guys. But, now I just want to go play Skyrim.
I haven't gamed much for a few years and I only seem to want to when I'm sick as a dog (which I am right now). I'm loving Skyrim though. When the husband came home last night and put the football game on I started reading Skyrim guides. I'm kicking myself that I got it for PS3 instead of 360. I could hook the 360 up to another TV, but the PS3 has to stay in the theater room. Of course, that's why I did that...so hopefully I'll still have a life and not be able to play for hours. :-(
I'm going for a stealthy, battlemage Argonian build. Well, I can't really play bass when the husband is asleep can I? *leaves to play Skyrim*
