I play in a metal band with some dubstep influences..and sometimes i need to make some slap and on the melodic parts some tapping, but i can't make them to cut through the mix. I play an Yamaha BB G5S. What should I do ?

+1 to all of the above. EQ change at the press of a button, compressor, and a very mild OD/distortion are all great ways to help normalize your sound.

If you want, getting a loop pedal (not like a ditto, but an effect looper) would make it so you'd only have 1 button tap instead of 2, 3, etc to change your tone. Might be worth considering. Also, depending on how often, and how drastic you want your different sections to sound a volume pedal might be a good choice.

what are the guitar EQs like? are they bottom heavy? Is the tom toms and kick drum boomy? If the guitars are bassy then you have been crowded out of the mix and there's not much you can do. Slap tends to have a smiley face EQ, so your first step is to clear out the low end so you can have some space to be heard. Roll off the drums and guitars and see if that sound will work for the band. If you want a big kick, then EQ it up at about 80hz, and you roll off your bottom and boost around 120hz, and see if that works for the band.
