slave out into........?

I have an Ampeg V4BH and am interested in running from the Slave out into my Carvin R1000 (hold your applause please ). Does anyone know how I could safely do that? The Carvin doesn't have a place that is obvious (to me) to plug in from the Slave out.

I don't know that I absolutely need to do this but I want to know options that I have. I can't run my 4x10 cab and my 1x18 with just the Ampeg so I am hoping that I can slave out into the Carvin which powers one of the cabs.

is there a 1/4 preamp out jack, or an xlr for DI? preamp jack is your best bet though the DI out, assuming it has one, may work so long as it isn't overloading the other amp's input.

Yes, I unerstand that part (coming out of the Ampeg), the part I don't understand is where to go into the Carvin for safety/best results.

the best place would be a power amp in or effects return on the back of the amp so that you will bypass all of the EQ.
