Small Combo with DI?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a small combo with a DI out. Does something like that exist?

Basically, I find myself playing in a lot of musicals and shows and stuff lately, often crammed into tiny spaces with a reasonably large band. I want a little combo that I can use for personal monitoring that I can also send through the FOH, and can double as a little portable practice and small jam amp. Something under 100 watts would be good, and probably closer to around 40 (I know everyone on TB loves to say "You can never gig with anything less than 400 watts!!!!!", but I have played in numerous acousticy kinds of bands and small rooms where 4o is enough)

Nothing too exotic, due to cost and also that I am in Australia.

EDIT: Also, if in your experience I would be better off just getting a small amp for jams and practice, and a DI pedal and using foldback for shows, please don't hesitate to say so.

I play pit orchestra gigs (occasionally) with a Mesa Walkabout. It has a DI level control. So you can turn down the rig and turn up the DI if they need a hotter signal. The tone is just freaking great. And it is the perfect height to set a chart book on. I don't even need a music stand.

It's way over your watt count, but you can always turn down.

Probably more amp than I need, but thank you

I would go for Phil Jones Bass, if you've got the budget for it.

I really love the tone of the PJB Briefcase. I've had the PJB Bass Cub and it's also terrific (a little darker sounding). Can't go wrong with either.

I've never played the Phil Jones stuff, but heard the Briefcase, I believe, live recently with doublebass and I was impressed with the clarity and naturalness of the sound.
