Small Combo with DI?

Markbass CMD151P, bought mine for the tone and portability. Nice and welcome surprise is a true XLR DI with
a dedicated volume knob for the DI out. Good thing it's there because I needed the DI out a couple times with
guitar drums and vocals on pa.

I don now know if you have Yorkville/Traynor down under but I just bought a Yorkville practice amp for one of my students. It had a 10" speaker, I think 50 watts, but it had AUX in and Line Out. I paid $50 for the unit and it can hang with a quiet band. I did not really care for the tone though, it was very rock-centric.

Played a rumble today and wasn't massively impressed by the tone, but the weight and volume was pretty incredible.

Seems like there's a lot of good choices out there. I'm leaning towards the Ampeg currently.
The volume for the settings on the Rumble also control the volume on the DI but our sound guy can work with it. I play my 40 watt Rumble with the band every week. I should add that we use electronic drums and our guitarist doesn't need to play at ear bleed levels. It may be a moot point if you don't like the tone.
I use a Zoom B3 in front of the amp set to emulate an SVT plus a little compression. The Zoom also has a DI.

If you can score a used Genz Benz 3.0-10T - 19 pounds, 1-10", 175 watts, great DI. And it sounds good - I've had mine for years, and prefer the sound and coverage over the GK MB150 (which also would be a great choice), and way prefer the sound to the Mark Bass 1-12", which can go a lot louder and drive another cabinet, but that is not what you need.
