Psycho drummer boy requested that we play since I've been loving you last night at our jam. We all laughed at him and counted off a shuffle.
That's right up there with saying Van Halen's "Ice Cream Man" is a blues tune.

Details...Yeah we don't shoot down people that want to play rock blues covers, but we don't encourage it either. But the drummers are questing that we do this? Who the hell is gonna sing it?

Absolutely. I've run into disrespectful jerks like this before too. They are not worth the time of day. Keep doing what you're doing. You'll be just fine.Sigh. Male dominance ritual, often a symptom of insecurity. Sort of like small dogs who bark ferociously, hoping you'll think they're bigger than they actually are.
Just keep on keepin' on, soon you'll be gigging in a band and he'll still be annoying people at jams.
Grassing Math Adult sounds like it's gotta be something.Grasping. Stupid fire stick

New band name!Grassing Math Adult sounds like it's gotta be something.
It's the grassing that gets ya! I sucked at meth too.I have probably done better at math in high school if I hadn't done so much grassing

<leaving before I get us all in trouble>
A little different situation, I auditioned for my church. I did not do so well. The WL wants the bass part played EXACTLY as the original. I do keep it close to the original. Sorry, Ol' Big-daddy dont always play exactly like the original. I do play the correct notes but sometimes I minimize the bass lines to keep from missing a note or riff or add a little extra. If I am not telling you how to play, dont tell me how to play. I KNOW when I miss a note, I dont shout out "wrong note" when you miss one,,,would stop singing or stop his lead then proceed play the bass lines on his guitar that he felt you should be playing.
Yep, miss a couple of notes they will rotate you out,,,,Not a fan of open jams. The regulars take up most of the allotted time.
