smallest volume pedal?

im not sure about the option knob, but if i could find a way to make the volume pedal from guts and use that housing it might work. i've never done a byo before

what would i need for all of the components? that enclosue is cool. i think i'd need a potentiometer, a couple of jacks... what else? are there any schematics out there for something like this?

to confirm i think i just want one knob, and an led.

What would the LED be for? Do you want to make it something switchable where you'd want to know if it's on or off?

If you just want a straight volume pedal, you just need the volume pot, a knob for the pot, the enclosure, and 2 jacks.

Anyone remember that Effector 13 exp pedal that was talked about so long ago, the size of an MXR pedal? Was that ever released? Sorry, but only mildly off topic at least...

wrong. the ernie ball jr is smaller than the boss in all ways

yeah. i think it would be cool if it could mute everything also. and i want it to be true bypass. so what else would i need to get there? and where could i find the parts?

A word of warning, though. I have a similar Rolls pedal and if you back it off, then put weight on the heel, it can break the plastic attached to the pot. When that happens you have a small enclosure footrest.

Had I recognized this before I broke it, I may have been able to add a stop to prevent the damage, but too late now.

after finding that pedal parts plus website, i think this is going to be feasable. now, what kind of potentiometer should i get for a volume pedal? im not sure the difference

Probably a logarithmic taper pot, but it would depend on the physical design I suppose.
