My equipment like it rough
(surely it would've complained by now, right?)
Perhaps all that damage it wears could be construed as complaints.

I Like that idea! do it Theres even different colors of duct tape now.
Why not duct tape the entire bass? That I'd like to see.![]()
danomite64 said:Interesting. The OP uses a bit of duct tape and metal to repair his bass, and some of you guys are giving him the 3rd degree. Meanwhile, there's a guy who stripped off the finish on his P-bass, revealing a remarkably ugly mis-matched multiple-piece body, which he a natural finish to, and all the posters in that thread gave him kudos.
The worry over the OP cutting himself is a valid concern, though.

It's my fault really. People come on this site to see huge pedal boards and giant walls of amps?
I like the term "trench bass" alot though. Kudos.
So, you missed my post on that other thread? I think mine was #3.
No, I think a lot of people think of their basses as their "babies" rather than a tool to be used. So to see one beaten up tugs at their heart strings.
A little tongue in cheek, but I think you know what I mean.![]()
