No something similar to the Music Nomad F-one oil .. and, I should add, this is seemingly the only meaningful answer I’ve read on this thread .. maybe the strings manufacturer applied some kind of oil onto the strings after their fabrication; it then became rancid and smelly for whatever reason .. if the problem is in the strings the OP may just get rid of them ASAP.Nuoc mam?
Saw her live a coupla years back - what a show! Turns out I was in the same hotel, so I had the luxury of accidentally meeting her first thing in the morning before she put her makeup on! hehe. What a show.
