Ready, set, GO!
...You're telling the guy from up north that your ranch is SO big you can hop in your pickup and drive all day and still be on your property, and instead of saying "yep, I had a truck like that once, too" he says "You might try some tire chains, so you can get out of your own driveway."

In practice, of course, you don't want to go out even if you do have chains, because there will be eeediots out there that will hit you, and your traction will make no difference to their inability to drive.

@StrangerDanger that looks like snowmageddon for central Texas, indeed. On the plus side I guess it's water for crops, eventually. Usually they remember eventually that the road grader they actually have will plow snow, but nobody south of somewhere has a sand truck to make any traction on what's left; or sand or salt to put in one if they did.
