cool project! I love seeing Squiers being repurposed like this since they’re basically the perfect low-risk instruments to start messing with. Maybe I need one…

I just took ownership of my second Octave bass this past Monday. Can concur that Dario has nailed it.
As for the OP's bass, it looks amazing and I can't wait to hear sound clips. Very interested in those Turner pickups.

Have any tips to get this guy to respond to you? I've sent a few emails and messages and never heard back.

It’s hard to judge the sound compared to a Wal. Can you make a video with clean sound and played with fingers? Played with a pick and slight drive they all sound a bit the same to me. Thanks.
