So...I got a Sterling S.U.B Ray4 today...

I got my Ray34CA is a mule to mod and I ended up liking it more than my "real" Rays.
Guess I'll be fighting you guys for used 2-band preamps and pickups in the FS section bc the "real" ones are getting modded.

Congratulations! Those are great basses. Specially at $300 or something. I´ve got a blue SUB 5. But I´m planning to get a new SUB 4 black/maple. This new logo is cool, I hate the giant SUB logo in bold.
Perhaps you could share your point of view or review in this topic about exactly the same bass you´ve resently adquiered. Sterling SUB ray4 changes

The S.U.B Ray4 feels a lot beefier in comparison to my K.I.A Squier. The strap on the old one came loose and it fell, so we returned it...

I had a play with one of these (with the yukky big logo, sadly) in a local store a couple of months ago, and was genuinely amazed at how nice it was to play, and how well built it was. For the money, these are very hard to beat - if you like 'Rays, of course

Curious what the neck of a Ray35 is like, compared to a Schecter Stage 5 neck.

Why wouldn’t you be qualified to review it? Your opinion is as valid as that of the next person. I’m curious as to the range of tones these provide versus a standar Stingray

I’n a beginner. I know nothing about what is good or bad in a bass, especially when it comes down to specifics.

The sub4 is one of the few full scales that tempt me (in my price range). Always play em when available at music store.

These bass are amazing, I will tell you what, I have an EBMM Stingray Classic and my friend have a Sterling Ray . For the life of me. If you were blind fold me. I honestly can't tell which is which!
The EBMM has nicer neck but that's about it.

These Sterling basses are real bargain
