I don't even think he's that well educated on the bass as to be trolling for bargains. By the comment "any bass peavey ever ran never exceeded $500" it appears to me as if he has no idea what he's talking about. I personally don't care for them, but I know that they are well regarded among those who do, and there are differences between the lines of basses they put out.
Hey, your Fender price is too high. Anyone who's anyone knows that Fenders never go for over $500.
I'd say your add is too complicated. Just sell one bass per ad, and give three details. Trades are a pain in the butt unless they are the norm in your area.

You are suggesting a BXP is comparable to a US Cirrus??? They both have four strings I suppose..
UMM, BXP would be an import model not a USA made...$800 for a USA Cirrus is a decent price...depending on the wood type. Nice basses...
Problem is, with the market as funky as it is right now it might be a bit expensive for the sale. maybe when the market goes back up.
