I'm a multi-effect guy. It's not so much a war, as when the kids come on here asking "Should i get teh multi or teh pedals LOL", it's a race to get to them first.

Is there a whole stompboxes vs. multieffects thread on here somewhere? I've never taken the time to look, and frankly, talkbass posters seem too nice to wage war on each other.

The Effects forum has these threads on a daily...nay...hourly basis.

Personally, I've found my effects heaven with a Line 6 M13.

I love stompboxes, but hate patch cords, amp/speaker emulation, un-save-able settings, and gremlins. The M13 more than replaced my 7-12 pedal pedalboard.

Back on topic: 8x8 is a sweet cab. One of my favorites, but have never owned one.

As far as the schlep, I was able to easily manage it with help of another person for stairs (and I'm just a scrawny teenager!). Much easier than i imagined all in all

anyone ever played an all-tube head through a henry 8x8?

I'm lazy tonight as well, is there any comparison on the "Henry" with any other similar sized cabs anyone knows about? I've been wanting (2) 2x12 but this may be another option. There's one on merry-go-round used, but that's a risk in it self. Your rig looks sweet though.
