So I was browsing the Ritter website...

Jens applies what is on his mind without fear. I call that art and respectable. Too many do what others expect rather to walk where no one has dared go before. 
I am always in awe when I see a Ritter bass. I really want to play one or even just hear it live to see if they sound anywhere near as good as they look. Jens is an amazingly talented individual!
As a ritter owner I can confirm they sound just as good as they look and they play like butter. These are the real deal and are not just fancy art pieces. Jens has put as much through into the tone (if not more) than he has into the aesthetics.
I am indeed jealous of you Mark. Enjoy that gorgeous bass of yours! I had no doubt they sounded good, but it's one of those things that I'd just like to hear it in person.

Where do the strings attach to? They look to be thru-body, but there are no holes in the back....wth?

Oh, sweet. It's like a modified ferrule. I REALLY like that design. I need to contact Jens about getting a 4-string version of his bridge for my p-bass project. Really.

the internets (bless you GWB) can be a dangerous place, when you are at work, and your job board is empty, and you are a little overtired, and have recently been overexposed to tweens performing "Guys and Dolls" live on stage, over and over again, and you still have more performances to get through.
McDonalds is offering a Big mac, in a freaking wrap, NO BUN. Now it's been about 12 years since I've been to a McDonalds, but there's no way I'm gonna eat one of these. Next thing you know, In and OUT will be offering Tofu "burgers". I think 2010 is the new 2012.
