Dang Mike... I'm too jealous! that must have been sweet!

It was a lot of fun - and I thought we asll got on really well, I mean I know my music and I can play bass pretty well so I didn't feel out of my depth - and Matt is such a dude and very down to earth, and very, very funny - it takes the edge off the fact he's an incredible musician and bassist. Nick was very cool and sociable as well - I'm very lucky and I really appreciate that it was a cool experience indeed.

Funny you should say that - Matt tried calling Tom and getting him down to the gigs but Tom is a little shy and I think sees Matt as a rival more than a collaborator - and on the subject of SP being in a band I really don't think he'd actually tolerate any one else's musical vision apart from his own - I may be wrong but I think the only person he's really collaborated with is Aphex Twin - and he's a pretty twisted chap too!

You know it J - Matt did ask SP to remix his stuff for him, but Tom Jenkinson, being the difficult SOB he is, declined the offer - that would have been some unbelievable sh*t right there....

That's too bad. Really would be cool... specially if a Brad Mehldau 'Largo'-esque organic sound could be incorporated as well. Well let Sq.Pusher know that it would sell like no tomorrow...

Brad, Matt and Squarepusher - holly-moley - that would be one f***ed up combo...I love Brad's work as well - haven't really heard anything since Largo as it goes - I kind of got side-tracked by E.S.T. - The Esbjorn Svenssen Trio - if you haven't heard them check them out -they're quite amazing - the album 'Seven Days Of Falling' is good place to start.
