Thanks buzz. This is a tough ride. You never know how you are going to react to circumstances until you start living the nightmare. I eventually stopped waking up in the middle of the night saying "I have cancer."
There has been so much silver lining everywhere I turned. as much as it's been a scary, physically challenging year, it has been such a personally rewarding year, in terms of appreciating life, my wife, my daughters, family and friends. All of that makes me better and gives me strength.

Best wishes for a good recovery. It's a tough experience, so keep in mind that attitude plays a significant role. I spent the better part of six months in a cancer ward in 1972, and my wife went through breast cancer treatment about eight years ago. Based on what I've seen, I truly believe that maintaining a positive attitude helps. During your treatments, when you see opportunities to have a little fun, seize them with a vengence.

Also, nice version of the National Anthem. I'm a bit partial to the following -- my band playing before a SF Giants game a few years ago. The vibra-slap was a nice addition.

Good luck in the treatment, Brian. I volunteered at the Terry Fox run this past weekend and they were saying about all the different cancers that are now beatable since the run started 32 years ago and I remember yours being one they listed.

I hope things work out for you as well. Stay positive, it really does make a huge difference. I'm about 10 years post cancer Tx so, I know the deal.
