so I'm lying in a hospital bed....

I am fortunate to have what Steve Jobs had. It's a neurone fine tumour. Thus far this year, they have removed 100% of the tumour. It is 100% gone. This some focused on the liver. Chemo has shrunk and removed some small stuff. Microwave ablation has eliminated 16 lesions. In a month, we removed the left side of the liver. Then, I go for specialized procedure that releases a radio active isotope into my blood and kills off what's left.

A long year of surgery's, recoveries, chemo, etc, etc. I know I will walk away from this in another 3 months. Not high on the fun metere.

I get what he is saying. The advances in cancer cures is staggering and there are greater chances of survival today.

I have been told that they will not rid me of this. They have also told me that I have had this for 2-3 years undetected. It is a slow growing cancer. The plan has been to reduce the tumor load and keep it under control.
