Another nice snag, DH! I had an original Les Paul Sig many years ago.


Thanks! Yeah, I used to have one of the originals to and it was a cool bass for certain things. I got such a good price on this when I couldn't pass it up, figured the worst case I could do is sell it andmake a profit. But they are very cool basses, and definitely make a visual impact!
 
So, how does it sound/play?

I just did a quick set up and it plays very well. As far as sound, it's a pretty versatile base. You can get in P Bass range with it, and you can also get in the typical hollow body-ish range with the varitone. Should be able to find a bunch of demonstration videos on YouTube. Overall I like it so far. I certainly don't think it would replace my 62 jazz or some of my p bases, but it's a nice other flavor to have.
